The Jewelry Design Competition has been successfully organized by the Jewelry Exporters’ Association since 2009. The aim of the competition is to encourage creativity in jewelry design, foster the emergence of striking and contemporary designs, and introduce young, talented designers to the industry. In doing so, it contributes both to the development of high value-added products and to the wider recognition of jewelry design as a field.

The awareness created by the competition has enabled more young designers to consider jewelry design as a viable career path. Through this platform, the Jewelry Exporters’ Association also seeks to enhance the export capacity and international competitiveness of the Turkish jewelry industry. Some projects that have received awards or gained recognition in the competition have been brought into production, while designers have gained employment opportunities with exporting companies.

The jury panel consists of world-renowned designers, distinguished academics, industry professionals, senior executives of leading brands in Turkey and abroad, as well as IMMIB representatives. This ensures that many outstanding projects are recognized and rewarded.

Attracting highly creative and talented designers every year, the competition also draws strong interest from both industry stakeholders and the media.
